Whats your Evolve rig? (PC)

#1

Here is the place to show off you specs.

Mine is modest but, respectable.

GTX 660 3gb of vRAM
AMD FX 6300
8GB of DDR3 RAM
Xbox 360 controller
Cheap ass headset

I can run on high without much issue. Lower the fps a bit and it’s groovy

GTX 770 4gb
i7-3770k
32gb DDR3
Asus P8Z77-V DELUXE mobo
Good ole’ mouse N keyboard
Plantronics Headset

Way overpowered but definitely future proofed.

Holy fisherman’s reel, 32 Gigs of ram. Please tell me you do virtual rendering or game design with that much ram.

#4

I do have virtual machines running and a virtual server that I will be building in the coming months. Really I just wanted to make sure I was getting the same RAM sticks when I built my rig instead of getting mix matched parts later on.

#5

I believe there’s already a thread for this @Plaff?

#6

GTX 770 2GB
I7-2770K
16GB DDR3
Das-Keyboard and Logitech Mouse
Logitech Wireless Headset

#7

That still sounds like overkill :stuck_out_tongue: Kudos and all that you at least have that.

@Boomboxer23. I did a quick search but didn’t find one. Sorry if its a repeat

#16

There was one right before the first Alpha, but it appears to be gone now. No idea what happened to it. So this thread isn’t a duplicate.

#17

@SnugglesTheConqueror it’s alright I just thought that there was a topic on this already and if so then you could prolly see more peoples PC builds then just who sees this thread

#18

I’m guessing it was put into the alpha forum… I wonder if a mod can move it out, since it shouldn’t have any alpha info in it. But there were a TON of responses.

#19

The issue was that the alpha thread was specifically devoted to rig specs vs performance values, which isn’t really something that should be public information.

I thought I saw a non alpha thread on this subject, but if there hasn’t been, I endorse this thread.

#20

That’s what I’m talking about, it was basically right before and was called something along the lines of “What are your specs?” and it had a ton of pictures and specs. I don’t remember it being in the Alpha forum, but it could have been.
