Heres some tier concepts I’ve been working on for a long time. all the numbers are of course just approx and could be changed to suite.

Assault Drone

Acting as a fifth team member, Tenshi’s assault drone is a modified Ebonstar attack drone . It is unable to revive team mates but has the ability to attack and cycle through different attack modes at your disposal.

- When activating the Assault Drone ability, the ability icon on your HUD and the icon above the drone will change to match it’s current mode.
- Perks and buffs the assault player gets affect the drone. EX: Reload speed decreases not only the assault’s reload speed, but also the drone.


Personal Shield (Class Ability)

10 second duration
30 second cooldown [Cooldown begins at shield’s depletion as normal]


General Notes
- Tenshi is an assault character who divides out her damage between herself and her drone. Her combat rifle deals medium damage, while using her gauss grenades to deal heavy damage on occasion with a small stun.
- Her Assault Drone is designed to deal about half her overall damage between the two of them
- Perks and buffs the assault player gets affect the drone. EX: Reload speed decreases not only the assault’s reload speed, but also the drone.

Sent secretly by CIG9 to check on Val’s progress, Jobson’s primary goal is to capture data on the monsters and to send any remains back to CIG9 is possible. He was given some new tools to aid in the job by CIG9.

-A semi-automatic carbine rifle that deals moderate damage from moderate-long ranges.

Isotope Tagger

An energy based beam that autotargets and leaves traces of radioactive residue on the monster that can be tracked.

60 meter range
15 second max beam duration
20 recharge speed
37.5sec Max Highlight duration

Isotope Tagger Notes
- The longer the beam stays locked on the monster, the longer the highlight stays on the monster when you stop
- As with all beam based weapons, the Isotope Tagger auto targets the monster.
- For every second you continuously target the monster, you get 2.5 seconds of highlight afterwards.
- The highlight time does not stack. once you start targeting again, the timer resets


Gravity Well

Jobson tags an area for the creation of an experimental gravitational disturbance from space. The gravity well creates a strong gravitational force that pulls the monster towards the center of it.

Gravity Well Notes
-The gravity well appears as a single large blue beam from the sky and its effects on the monster can be seen as a blueish aura (similar to the stasis effect)
- The gravity well pulls the monster towards the center, but does not prevent the monster from trying to escape by using traversals or abilities.

Disruption Grenade

An energy based grenade that deals medium damage but also increases the cooldowns of all the monsters abilities for an extremely short period of time by disrupting the monster’s ability to regain energy.

Disruption Grenade Notes
- A Shutdown effect is an effect that temporarily pauses all ability cool-downs for a specific duration. This does not affect traversals or actual movement speed.


Quantum Accelerator

Dalkin’s Quantum Accelerator overclocks a teammates equipment, giving them faster access to their weapons or abilities but has a long cooldown itself.

5 second max duration
40 meter range
10 seconds to recharge
+40% Fire Rate to target
+25% Reload speed to target

Mastery:
+2%/+5%/+10% Capacity

Quantum Accelerator Notes
- The Quantum Accelerator only affects abilities and equipment that can already be affect by the similar perks/buffs. (This will exclude Class Abilities)
- The Quantum Accelerator does not stack or add with other reload/recharge abilities (similarly to how buffs/perks are prioritized already)

Paige is part of the R&D division of Salveron. Most of her equipment are prototypes that required permission or specialized training to use.


Modified Laser Scalpel

A beam based surgical tool from a ship’s med-bay re-purposed into a weapon allows Paige to burn through armor for small amounts of direct damage and increased damage when there isn’t armor.

Polarized Heal Drone

Paige sends a Polarized Heal Drone to a teammate that has increased healing based on how close that teammate is to Paige.

Biomass Teleporter Notes
- An arrow appears above the hunter your targeting similar to Slim’s Heal Drone
- An icon remains over the hunter with the drone that show’s your distance from them


Biomass Teleporter

The Biomass Teleporter has the ability to warp/teleport Paige to teammates or to warp them to you once charged up.

45 meter range
10 second recharge time
2 second charge to warp others to you.

Use the Biomass Teleporter 10 times

Teleport 25 incapped teammates out of combat

Healburst Cannon

The healbrust cannon is a chargeable healing tool. the longer you charge it, the greater the healing amount. When fired it creates a small healing explosion at the target location and any teammates in that area will get healed

Hologram Projector

A place-able object that creates a hologram of the [hunter]. The hologram acts like a normal AI but deals no damage and can not use abilities during its duration.

Hologram Projector Notes
- The hologram flashes white when hit.
- Unlike Wraith’s decoy, the [hunter] does not go invisible when using the hologram. Its primary use is to confuse the monster as to which is real so that the real [hunter] can escape from danger.
- The hologram can not be smelled, but the hologram projector can be (similar to sound sensors). This can also be used to find the real [hunter].


Cryobeam

An energy based beam that slows down a monster’s movement over time

60 meter range
10 second max beam duration

Cryobeam Notes
- The longer the beam stays locked on the monster, the stronger the slow on the monster

Haha. I had to put that. Honestly, coming up with new unique ideas was difficult. Primarily the isotope tracker and biomass transporter were probably my most fond concepts here.

Tenshi’s Rifle is way too similar to Markov’s Rifle.

The Gauss Grenade stun takes away the job of the Trapper which is CC, rather have it slow cooldowns of Monster skills or something.

The Attack Drone sounds cool.

Any suggestions on the rifle?

I figured that since they already blend some roles that giving the grenade a small 1(+/- .5)second stun would be appropriate. Especially when the cool down separates the stuns from her.

I personally would like to see a semi-automatic rifle with high accuracy and moderate damage.

Capacity: 20 Rounds
Damage: 40 per shot

Fires as fast as you can click the mouse.

Okay, just read through it, and I will say I definitely like your characters. Except for Paige and her shitty puns. Anyways, I just have one major pet peeve with this. Well, two.

1st: Your trapper brings absolutely no CC to the table. Sure he can make a duplicate of himself, but one hit to that duplicate instantly gives away that it’s a duplicate. This seems much more like a support ability with a major debuff.

2nd: Those grenades man. They can deal moderate damage AND stun lock the monster. Even if it is for just a short time, it’s still enough. Orbital + Grenade-Thingy equals heavy damage. This seems like a trapper ability that got a major debuff.

In all honesty, I just feel like a couple of abilities are out of place here. They’re all balanced (well, somewhat UP)… They just seem like they’re in the wrong spots.

Still, great ideas!

So, including the comments from @Slewey , the grenade needs to deal less damage (200?) And switched to trapper if I kept the stun. Trapper currently has Isotope Tagger, Hologram, and he would have a weapon. I can remove the hologram and put in a “Other Ideas” section for future Hunter concepts and give jobson the gauss 'nade and increase the stun to maybe 2-3seconds(which is a long time…)

However, then I’ll need a new weapon/tool for assault now.

Can I get some input on the isotope tagger as a tracking tool, dalkin’s kit, and Paige’s kit. (Their also missing weapons)

Did some updates. Move Gauss Grenade to Trapper. reduced damage and changed the mastery from Damage to duration(for stun). Moved Hologram Projector to “Other Concepts” for later use and i also moved the Cryobeam to “Other Concepts” because i decided that having multiple beam based weapons on a single character may be confusing aesthetically (i thought about sunny as a counter argument to this, but sunny uses a drone for one, while she has the JP booster.)

since i’m on a computer ATM, i also redid how the OP looks to make it less “wall of text” like.

I like the Isotope Tracker, though I do feel that he’d be the least viable “tracker” in the game, since his whole tracking method requires him to be with in 60 meters of the creature.

I honestly feel like that, with such limited healing ability, she should have another healing ability rather than the Biomass Transporter. Also, question about the BT, can you go through walls? Please say no, as that would be horrendously OP for escaping the monster. It could also be used as a trolling mechanic for assholes who want to pluck Lennox from the sky mid Thunderstrike, or whatever crazy trolling attempts you could think up.

I also feel that 5 seconds is much to short for Dalkin’s beam.

The Isotope Tracker works differently than you think. when you use it on the monster it tags the monster while you use it as your thinking. however, when you stop using it, the tag REMAINS on the monster for a period of time thats based on how long you used it.

Example, you use the tracker on the monster for 5 seconds before the dome falls. the monster gets away. however, the tag REMAINS on the monster for an additional 5 seconds even though its gotten away.

Thats how it works.

Her healing is meant to be used tactically. with the ability to put three (7.5 meter radius, 176.71sq meters each) generation fields in a dome(which has 7853.98 square meters in area, if the dome has a 50m radius), she can effectively turn 513 of that into a healing field.

her healing may be a bit lower than it seems, but she has a huge advantage of turning a decent chunk of the area into a healing field (although the generators can be destroyed)

No, the targeting acts just like how slim’s drone targets (with a green arrow) and can’t be used through walls and such. limited to range of sight and a limited distance. yes, thats always a possibilty, but trappers can troll too. they can dome and trap the team away form the monster. medics can ignore certain teammates. trolling is something that may happen, but most people would rather win. xD


(3) i picked 5 seconds for the Accelerator beam because i dont have a definite amount as to how much cooldown it gives in that 5 seconds (im thinking of the same amount as a lvl3 reload perk, or the buff) but the point of the beam is to give the hunter up to at least 1 full reload of their stuff if not half.(weapons primarily)
