Stage 2: Rly low fps

Hi, I got i5-4690k 4.2ghz gtx970 16gb ram and I get 26-28fps on ultra and on low 32fps, 500+ fps in menu. Maybe someone know fix for it?

Hm, you almost have the same build as me (you have double the RAM, that’s the only difference), but I’m running things just fine. Weird

Maybe this happens to you. Also post your DxDiag just in case, so a dev can look at it.

Here is DxDiag dxdiag

@ArPharazon is this something you can use to deduce the issue?

DxDiag looks great. Please see if the problem clears up after a few matches (which would support the idea that it is shader rebuilds, as referenced in a post above).

I am having similar issues. I have to play on low settings and still get fps drops down to 10 fps. It doesnt matter if it is in combat or not. The map Wraith Trap has some areas that are borderline unplayable. The lower part for example, with that giant round structure.

I dont remember my exact settings from last year, but it was at least Medium with decent FPS.

My PC:
i5-2500K
8 GB RAM
GTX 770 4 GB with the latest drivers

DxDiag looks fine. Please play a few matches in Solo and see if the problem lessens over time. It’s probably building shaders and eventually you’ll have all you need and it will run fine. This is a known issue that should improve with our next delivery.

If you play a lot of matches and it gets no better, then we have a different problem.

It seems to get better. I will wait for future updates and see how things change. Thanks!

If you play enough, you won’t need the update – for that. You’ll have the shaders you need by then, generally. But you never should have needed to build them yourself in the first place, that was not what we wanted.

Well I played like 5+ matches and nothing changes, still 28~fps, I opened HWMonitor on other monitor to see gpu temperature and its only 38 C (100 F), I would say game is using intagrated cpu card but I have disabled in bios, weird.

Have you used GPU Z to see if anything is wonky?

No, but I don’t think what something is wrong with my gear, cuz I playing other demanding games like Witcher 3…

That is really odd, I really hope it’s just the shaders. Maybe they’ll be able to figure out the source and patch it soon.

Well, Wraith Trap is still causing massive fps drops for me. I am going from 40 down to 10 just by turning the camera. Once it dropped during the start of the evolving animation.

And it’s that bad every time you play it, never improves?

So far no improvement. I’ll try some solo games on Wraith Trap tomorrow. Maybe the shader building thing needs more love

I am currently using

Tex Medium
Shader Low
Model Low
Shadow Low
Particle Low
SMAA 1x
VSYNC 1 frame

and the game is running quite smooth, usually over 30 fps.

So this game when i start it up, i wont get more then 8 fps and ingame only 1, and its cocking my CPU it goes up to 100% in use. My specs: GTX 980, i7-4790k, 8GB RAM … help. :sob: @TheMountainThatRoars

Can you post CPU/GPU Z screens and anything else you think might help.

with an i7 and 980 I can’t imagine what the issue is.

Also, have you tried verifying the Game Cache Integrity?
