Here’s a few things you can try.
See if you have an anti-virus program blocking it.
Verify Integrity of Game Cache - Right Click Evolve and select properties. Go to the “Local Files” tab and click on “Verify Integrity of Game Cache…”
Reinstall DirectX and Microsoft Redistributables. In the “Local Files” tab, select “Browse Local Files…” and go into the folder “_CommonRedist” Run the “DXSETUP.exe” for directX and vcredist based on your OS. If you run a 64-bit OS, run X64. If you run a 32-bit OS, run x86. You can tell by right clicking on your computer and selecting properties. You can google how to find that out if you’re not sure.
