Gaming PC Build
AMD Antlon 3.8GHZ X4 760k 74.99$ DM
MSI A78M-E35 MotherBoard 54.99$ DM
Sapphire Radeon R7 260X Graphics Card 134.67$ MUST
8GB ram Crucial Ballistix Sport 74.19$ DM
1TB Western Digital Black 74.99$ DM
430W Corsair CX430 Power supply 43.33$ DM
Corsair SPEC-01 Case 49.99$ DM
Wi-Fi Adapter – Asus USB-N53 36.32$ MUST
Total 543.47$

  1. Is this a good gaming PC?
  2. Is It easy to build?
  3. Anyway I can lower the cost?

if it says must means im not willing to lower the quality or take it away to lower the cost and if it says DM means it alright if I downgrade to decrease price.

Theres no way that power supply is going to cut it. Gonna need at least 500 watts with an amd cpu and that graphics card. I’m not sure what the voltage of that motherboard supports if it is good enough for that cpu. Other than that I think its fine.

what do you suggest?

You can get a good PSU at $60 for what you need. You can also get 8 GB RAM for about $50 to absorbed the cost increase. Idk what you are doing other than evolve but, my PC is just games and I have a 500 GB that isn’t full. I delete games when I am done with them and all my media is cloud based

Do you have a set budget you can go by? If you can give me the limit of which you can buy I can help you out REAL nice.

And you’re going to need to switch out that 430W. Bump it up to 600 or 700. That’s more than enough but its safe-side amount.
A Sapphire Radeon? Never heard of that one but you sure about that?

I imagine you’ve seen the system requirements for evolve. If you’re looking to build a rig for evolve, you’ll meet minimum requirements with your build. Your RAM and CPU meet or exceed the recommended requirements. The GPU will chug along but you won’t have the prettiest or fastest experience out there. All in all you’ll be fine I think.

I built my first PC about a year ago. It seems harder to do than it is. The only part that is a pain is connecting the front panel to the motherboard.

A good how to video I found,

Can’t do much with only $500 but if that’s all you can stick with, then stay with the graphics card you have now. Anything higher would be too costly.
Your build is fine but that graphics card might be able to hold you up.

if you’re american, you should definately wait until mid november if possible. Black Fri sales start early, and you may be able to save a significant amount of money.

His CPU of choice is very comparable to the 6300 but $20 cheaper. I’d stick with his and toss the $20 somewhere else. Like a better PSU
