Just had a session yesterday, been 2 months since I had played and not DM’d.
It was fantastic, I feel like I have finally got my rogue movements and attack patterns down so well.
We entered into a section of the caves of chaos, and in one massive giant fight (set of the alarms) 6 of us took down a total of 40 zombies, 20 skeletons, 4 accolytes, 4 necromancer, and their boss.
It was epic, and took roughly about 3-4 hrs with, and took place basically in two corridors, one with an upwards slope.
None of us went down, we were very close!
We had a newcomer to our group, and our DM has allowed them to play the mystic class, so that was not only interesting, but extremely helpful!
We also have a huge paladin in our group, and he drank a potion of growth.
He grew two times the size and 8 times the weight. After climbing on him, I used his shoulder as a crossbow sniper point, and got a few stealth kills like that.
Then when the main guy showed his face, with his massive size, and my dual wield ability with my shortswords, he through me like a dart at the main enemy.
I wcored a critical stealth on one of them, but was in the middle of a massive crowd, sonour sorcerer cast invisibility on me!
I was then able to get myself to a point where I could use the ramp to jump off the massive paladins back (we was right against the edge of it)
Doing so vaulted me over and I was able to plunge my short sword in the bosses heart, and finish him off.
In the span of that battle, I killed many a foe, and got hit twice, I was extremely focused on my maneuvering, as in the definition of a glass cannon at 20 health, and have been far to reckless in the past.
I’m really getting the feel for my character and the game now!!!
