Now that’s immersion!
The best part is that they loved it and can’t wait to do it again!
I kinda drew the line just before “Wear actual costumes and armor”.
We wore costumes at the last game.
Mountain, I wish I was there with ya.
It’s a blast, man!
GOD DAMNIT MOUNTAIN YOU’RE MAKING ME SAD I MISSED OUT

The best part of my group is how into it everyone is getting! Here’s an email I received today from my Tiefling Druid:
Steve and I had the most D&D weekend ever.
Watched the D&Diesel episode below, got into watching Acquisitions Incorporated (https://dnd.wizards.com/articles/podcasts/acquisitions-inc), designed some minis for our characters, and worked on a surprise we’re bringing to the game Friday night. Bwahahaha!
why must I be left out.
That so so freakin’ awesome Mountain! – WOW!
I’LL GET YOU NEXT TIME, SHANERS!
Aww thanks! The only downside is now I have to find a way to top it next year.
@BearStream Check it out, Wizards made their dinosaurs scientifically accurate!
Very nice. Now, time to take over cinema.
One more post, I just finished a demogorgon mini for my oota campaign. If you need cheap mini’s check out Printable Heroes on Tumblr. They’re all free and there are bonuses if you’re a patron on patreon.
It’s the Demogorgon!
I’ve been watching this thread for a while - I’m in my first campaign now (not as DM). I gotta say, D&D is actually super cool!
The setting we’re in is a weird post apocalyptic version of classical fantasy. Think mad max meets lord of the rings meets greek mythology. I’m playing a druid with a giant harpy eagle pet. It’s been an interesting ride!
One of my teammates commissioned campaign art, and I thought I’d share.
That’s super dank
I love it
