I hope somewhere along the line that TR will add bios for each character, just so we can understand their conversations a lot more
Technically in those conversations, there is background information.
Well we know the backstory for a lot if not all the Hunters so…
not exactly bios but there is also
which does have basic bios.
The conversations cover much of the background in a manner that is designed to make you piece things together (think like how star wars IV V and VI outlined the plot of I II and III without showing it directly).
That said, devs have mentioned considering adding in written backstory into the game. No word on where that develop though. For now, here are some sweet backstories for your entertainment!
You can find some bios at the beginning of this thread
Yea but detailed paragraphs like the ones for MK characters though that is a very different game
Someone updates the wiki with information as it’s found/released, too:
Jack and Lennox have their own pages too, but they aren’t on the homepage under Hunters.
I CAN SEE MYSELF! JUST LOOK, IT SAYS SENTRY GUNS
Except for the newer characters
It’s like porn for @Sentry_Gun
I feel like, if you need a background bio to understand the dropship conversations, I failed.
When in my statement did I say that I misunderstood the conversations?? I clearly said to “understand better”. I want to delve deeper and know what drives them
Nope, you did good, @Matthew.
I love the tidbits. The piecing together of a picture, like a verbal jigsaw puzzle. And the missing pieces, the things unsaid. It’s the opposite of what happens with every Steven King adaptation where it’s utterly suspenseful and terrifying and then the monster appears on screen and all the horrid, dark, creepy things you were imagining it to be are dispelled and replaced with a CG sock puppet.
Also, I’m still hearing conversations that I’ve never heard before that give me a chuckle. I’m so used to talking over the dropship convos because I’ve heard so many before, and then I’m like, “shit, I shoulda shuddup, that one was new!”
