Another question about Amplfiers and Perks

So, some days ago a friend of mine came up with a quite interesting question. What happens when you have the DMG Perk (15% iirc) and then Cabot Amplifies your damage (+100% iirc)

Will it be like this: 100% + 100% + 15% = 215%

or like this:

100+15 = the new “100%” therefore 100% + 100% = 230% (Because… 115 + 115 = 230%)

If the base damage is 100 and you take the perk. It changes it to 115. Then with Cabot’s damage amp (+100%) it would be 230 total.

Perks affect base damage. Damage amplifiers (Including Headshots, Damage Amp, Evolve cacoon etc…) add that base damage over.

Damn what a fast answer. So, this is actually the way you can push it the most right?

With Val it would be 345% then, plus the headshot is 460%?

The most is 400% of your base damage.

100 base damage + 35% perk = 135 damage.

135 Base damage.
Headshot adds +1.0x
Damage Amp adds +1.0x
Val’s Weakspot adds +1.0x

So instead of 135 you will be doing 540 per shot assuming it connects with the weakpoint and head.

Got me. So with Sloth Perk 540% per shot in head, with normal perk…

115 + 115 + 115 + 115 = 460, right?

Correct. With the 15% is would be 460 instead of 115. This assumes base damage of 100.
