Acid Maps need more character


The acid pools do way too little damage to be noticeable. It becomes so negligible that you wonder why there isn’t simply water there. Making the damage a tad but more significant would be a great step


On the other hand, that would make the monster’s job much easier, considering he has the ability to knock hunters back while the hunters cannot have that effect on the monster. That would be a significant balancing change.


One of the hard bits about Acid is that you cannot revive someone in it. For instance, if a hunter like hank gets thrown in there, someone like Markov or even Daisy can’t pick you up, as they are interrupted by acid. The only person who can help you up is the medic.

I believe this to be the ultimate goal of the acid pools, not causing massive damage.
